Buellton Event Oct. 30th

Fiddle Bird, our HCA member in Buellton, correctly suggested Alberton’s
as a good place for information tabling for the OneCareNow “event”.
There was a steady stream of customers and almost 100 people took
OneCareNow fliers as we stood at the store entrance.

Many were interested in finding out more at the web site before signing
the petition, while some signed then and there.

A County employee noted that he was paying $700 a month in health
insurance premiums to cover his family. Several others, including a few
nurses, stopped long enough to say they supported our efforts and that
reform was much needed and long overdue.
