Dixieland music drew
people past the produce stands at the Los Gatos Farmers’ Market
on December 10, a stormy Sunday morning. The four-piece band, led
by drummer Bill Todd, found shelter under the Post Office porch
together with the League of Women Voters and Health Care for All
members who braved the storm to carry the Health Care message to
local residents. Shown in the photo are Southwest Santa Clara Valley
LWV members Barbara Lea, Nancy Burbank, Anne Stewart, and Silicon
Valley Coalition HCA member Carol Dalrymple speaking to two shoppers
and a canine supporter. Although attendance was light, most of those
who stopped at the booth signed our OneCareNow petition, and by
the end of the day the sun even joined the fun!
