Two things the 3 events for Orange County's 3 southernmost towns had in common -- that's San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, and San Clemente -- is they were organized by the invaluable South Orange County chapter of the League of Women Voters, and they featured the legendary Dr. Don McCanne, holding forth on the virtues of single-payer healthcare in his trademark Mr. Rogers-meets-Noam Chomsky style, and then answering questions as long as questions were asked.
