Rally and press conference supporting expansion of children's health
care.
Local social justice organization, PUEBLO, called a news conference in support of the County Board of Supervisors vote to allocate $1,000,000 to expand the Healthy Kids initiative in Santa Barbara County. Because of its advocacy for full health care for all, HCA- Santa Barbara was invited to participate. Pueblo spokesperson Joel Rodriguez-Flores, possible 3rd District Supervisorial candidate Doreen Farr, and HCA Santa Barbara Chair, Peter Conn, made brief statements.
