CITY OF DAVIS ONECARENOW
EVENT
IMPACT OF THE HEALTH INSURANCE CRISIS ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Sponsored by Health Care For All - Yolo
City Council Chambers
April 20, 2007, 10:30 a.m.
About forty-five people, including representatives from Senator Mike Machado's and Assemblyperson Lois Wolk's office attended. The city councilman, and the school board member participating in the forum promised to bring up resolutions of support for single payer (using the Stockton and Oakland city models) in their respective governance bodies. Given the goals we hoped to achieve today, this was an extremely successful OneCareNow event!
