OneCareNow: Materials

From 10 am on Saturday, June 9 to 10 am on Sunday, June 10, supporters of SB 840 participated in this year's American Cancer Society Relay for Life event. Chico's OneCareNOW Relay for Life team raised money, staffed our OneCareNOW booth and walked to raise awareness of the benefits of single payer universal health insurance, especially to survivors of life-threatening illnesses and their friends and families. Over the 24 hour period many people stopped by our booth. More than fifteen pages of petition signatures were collected as people learned more about SB 840 and how they could get involved in the campaign.
