Guadalupe

Before starting the OneCareNOW event, we visited the Guadalupe Cultural Arts and Education Center. Among its many interesting displays, the Center houses a sports museum, Chumash history exhibits and mastadon bone fossils.

While Paulina visited some of the stores in the area to explain the OneCareNOW Campaign and the Kuehl Bill to shop owners, Peter, Jesse Ramirez of Guadalupe and Betty Faas of Santa Maria talked about having an information booth at the September 16th Independence Day Celebration in Guadalupe.

Ron Faas and Vibiana Saavedra helped draw the attention of passing drivers and pedestrians to our information area where we collected petition signatures and distributed fliers.
