Contra Costa members greeted the citizens of Alamo at 3 busy commercial sites during the early evening. They distributed OneCareNow flyers and collected 40 petition signatures. Many promised to sign online after reviewing the info further. Their overture to passersby – “Would you like to hear about a real solution to our health care crisis?” - was in the words of one volunteer, “stunningly successful!” Many stopped to chat and were very receptive to what they were hearing.
