Members of San Joaquin Health Coalition including Health Care for All San Joaquin and California School Employees Association met with Richard Holmer, City Manager, Riverbank on August 31.

The meeting was to educate the city manager and other city officials about single payer, universal insurance. Mr. Holmer had not been aware of the SB 840 bill and expressed real interest in it. He especially was interested in hearing details of financing by a payroll tax which could save the city a lot of money over its current system.
