Our OneCareNow group held a small, but very successful, rally in downtown Oroville on September 19th. With a lot of support from the Independent Living Services of Northern California who brought several of their clients to the rally, we made quite an impression in this conservative town. We distributed flyers to drivers and passengers stopped at street lights, and the reception was extremely positive. We're following this up with a presentation sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), to be held at the local library and advertised to the general public.
